Las Pintas, a real-time audiovisual work, was commissioned by the Société des arts technologiques in Montreal (SAT). Its first version was premiered at the SAT in October 2019 in the Satosphère, an immersive hemispherical dome combining 360° video projection from 8 projectors with a 157-speaker ambisonic system.

The piece was performed again on 5 March 2020 at the Centre Pompidou as part of the Ircam Live concert, with frontal video projection and a 29-speaker ambisonic system.

The piece is a collaboration with video artist Raphaël Foulon, exploring the dialectic between image and sound in the context of immersive, interactive generative systems. The set-up relies on the constant coupling of two generative systems, one for sound and one for image, guided in real time by two performers.
